Dear Members,

I have heard the past week in the financial markets described as schizophrenic.  I hope the opposite for our upcoming year.  We have the opportunity to build and grow on the relationships we have already made and make new ones. 

I am eager and excited about the plans we have set in motion for this year.  I have some large shoes to fill as my predecessor successfully implemented a financial literacy program that continues to build strength. I encourage everyone to get involved with many of the opportunities to participate in the financial literacy program and fun events we have planned. We are working to offer informative and interesting networking events in addition to our fun events.  Make sure to mark your calendars for the annual Angel Island Picnic and Holiday party with the East Bay and Silicon Valley Chapters.

Whatever your interest now is the time to get involved and make new friends.  I look forward to seeing you all in the future.
